If God did it before, trust that He is going to do it again.
My mother always says life is so uncertain — and she’s right. But it’s in that uncertainty that we have to pause and remember what God has already done. Not what we hope He’ll do… but what He has done.
I remember being sick, and He healed me.
I remember being laid off from my job, and He blessed me with a better one.
And let’s not even get into the times my heart was broken, disappointed, and disrespected.
Those seasons taught me self-love and self-respect. And because of that, I’ve learned to trust God even more — not just when things are good, but when life feels heavy, confusing, or out of my control.
God has a way of showing up in every situation. Not always how we expect, and not always when we want — but always when we need Him. That’s the part we have to hold onto, especially in times like these.
When life feels uncertain, I remind myself that the same God who healed me, provided for me, and carried me through heartbreak hasn’t changed. And if He did it before, I trust that He’ll do it again.
As we step into this new year, my prayer is simple: that we remember, that we trust, and that we hold on — even when answers aren’t clear yet.
Happy New Year.
May this year bring peace, healing, growth, and the reminder that God is still showing up — just like He always has.
